A BlackBerry Car Charger On Sale
“You’ll never believe it,” my friend Shirley hollered into the phone.
“What,” I answered groggily.
“You know how you’ve been telling me that you wanted to buy a BlackBerry car charger?” she started.
“Yeah…” I responded, wondering where this exchange was headed.
“Well, guess what?! They’re on sale! Right now! At the Verizon store!” she announced.
“Wow, Shirley, that’s fascinating. I’m so thrilled that you called me up to tell me. But do you think that next time you could call me up and tell me about it at a different time of day? I was sort of asleep.”
“Oh.” Shirley sounded hurt and disappointed. “I figured you would want to be the first one at the store. So you wouldn’t get there to find out that they’re sold out.”
