These days a washable air filter is a far superior choice to make when selecting air filters for for either air purification systems or your furnace or air conditioner. Washable air filters should be used instead of cheap disposable fiber class filters mainly because the latter are only designed to remove the larger particle contaminants that are found in the general outside, airborne environment.
