(No one else reacted this way.) Festivals at these times may have taken place in some places, but certainly not many. In fact, few holidays were universal in Pharaohic Egypt. Outside of Thebes, dates for the same festivals commonly varied from village to village. Many regions had their own unique festivals very different from most other regions. But there were also some festivals popular in a lot of places. So I must agree with you completely and I wonder what Henry is talking about. I believe he may not have studied the subjecy well enough to realize his error.
