Laptops and Wireless Internet-A Great Combo
Technology has allowed computer users to enjoy increased mobility as devices become smaller all the time and as wireless internet access has become more widespread. Even ten years ago the idea that you would be able to access the internet while eating your lunch at your favorite local restaurant was definitely not the norm. Today, even in the small town where I live there are numerous locally owned businesses that offer free wireless internet.
While laptops have been getting smaller and lighter for years now, devices such as the netbook make accessing the internet on the go even easier. These popular small laptops, and in fact almost all laptops sold today come with automatic wireless capability. If you want to be able to access the internet outside your home and your laptop does not have wireless capability built in, it is very easy to add a USB wireless card and be wireless ready.
