Leviton Color Changing LED Night Light
Both adults and children alike can feel comforted with a little bit of light in their bedrooms at night. A completely dark room can make it difficult to see where you’re going, whether it’s to get a drink or get to the restroom. Traditional night lights plug into a wall outlet and feature a single bulb which stays on continuously. These types work great, but if you’re the kind of person that likes to defy convention, then you should consider the Leviton Color Changing LED Night Light to light up your bedroom at night. The Leviton night light features a beautiful crystal prism design that changes colors automatically, providing a dazzling display of light to lull users into dreamland.
The Leviton light has some special features packed inside, including an automatic light sensor. Much like a solar path light, the Leviton night light has an optical sensor that measured the intensity of the ambient light within a room. At night when the room gets dark as the sun goes down the light will automatically turn on in preparation for the night. Conversely, the light will turn off when the sun comes out, saving energy and preventing users from having to hit a switch every morning and night.
The Leviton light has five mesmerizing crystal-like structures which each light up. A series of LED light bulbs inside the unit project different colored light into the crystals. Some models maintain a solid rainbow of color, while others change. A series of LED bulbs is used to project the color, each which is very energy efficient and generates minimal heat. The light fixture is attached to a white plastic base which contains the operational circuitry. It can be plugged into any standard wall outlet using the prongs. Ideal placement is usually in an area where the light can be seen from the bed.
I write many guides on the topic of lighting, including my latest one on outdoor flood lights. Writing about outdoor lighting is one of my passions.
