Remodeling My Bathroom I Discovered Mold
When I was remodeling my bathroom I discovered we had a mold problem. Apparently my shower was leaking and water was running into the wall near where it meets the floor of the shower. After doing some research online I discovered I should have been sealing the grout inbetween the tiles on the wall and floor to keep them water tight.
During the remodel we took care of the mold issue by scrubbing it down with Clorox Bleach and drying out the wall cavity.
We replaced the tile on the shower floor and wall with new grouting and sealed it. I will seal it yearly from now on so this does not happen again. We also replaced all of the accessories within the bathroom. These new bathroom accessories make out bathroom look a lot better than it did and thankfully we should be done with all of our mold issues!
