Saving Money With Do It Yourself Wedding Invitations
For many of us saving money is important, but quality is also important. This is definitely true with wedding invitations. You can save money with do it yourself wedding invitations and still have a beautiful product that is really worth sending to your friends and loved ones.
Begin by choosing a high quality card stock. There are lots of options, but it is a good idea to pick out one that is a light color and that is heavy. A good paper cutter can also make the process of cutting your cards with great edges easier.
Next you will want to take the time to design your invitation. Carefully write out the words you wish to use and choose your favorite publisher program. Play with the layout, the font type and size, and the colors you use to come up with the beautiful invitation you deserve. You can then choose to add an image if you wish. Black and white ones are often more classy and appropriate for wedding invitations.
Finally you will need to print them out. Unless you have a very high quality printer this process is usually best done at a print shop. Take your invitation and your card stock in and have them print out the number that you need. They will do it quickly and easily. If you desire you can work hard to get more creative. You can add ribbons or emboss your images on there. This would let you create a unique and truly beautiful piece.
Now all you need to do is cut your do it yourself wedding invitations and send them out. While the process takes a little more time and work your friends and family members.
