Why Platform Heels Are Comfortable
There was a time when stilettos were considered the in thing. These were stylish but caused cramps in legs if worn for long. This year’s fashion took another leap, by combining two trends that were a rage last year into one. That is, the manufacturers combined the heels of the wedge shoes and put straps in the upper part of the shoes. Thus, even when the shoes were high heeled, the wearer will not feel cramps in the legs, even when the heels were worn through out the day. The feet do not remain at an angle as it generally happens in case of stilettos. One such shoe is Betsey Johnson Howie, which has four and half inches of heels, with one inch platform heel.
