Yoga and the Natural You

Yoga is not, despite what it has become, about the physical demands of an aerobic exercise, nor is it about wearing the tightest pants or folding your legs like a pretzel.  Although those all can be byproducts of tree of yoga, the fact is the practice is more about connecting with yourself.  Plain and simple.  Make sure to have comfortable yoga pants.

Yoga has a rich history.  It was intended as a spiritual practice to teach being present in the moment.  It taught the necessity to limit distractions and to form unity between the mind, body, and spirit.  Today we can still benefit from the past by taking a break from the modern world and all of the daily hassles that plague us.  By taking time to stop, think, and be at one, it promotes a happier state of being.  Consequently, the physical benefits come naturally.
